Attorney, Mid-Michigan Law Group
Before becoming an attorney, I twice served as a missionary in Jamaica assisting with pterygium eye surgeries. During my summers in undergrad, I served as a camp counselor for the St. Clair Shores Special Needs Playground Program. Also, during undergrad, I completed and received my National License through U.S. Soccer, going on to coach club soccer from 2010-2017. Additionally, I played for the University of Detroit Mercy’s ACHA Hockey Team from 2010-2013.
After receiving my bachelor’s degree from Detroit Mercy, I was accepted into law school at Detroit Mercy’s School of Law. While in law school, I clerked for the Honorable Jennifer M. Faunce in the 16th Judicial Circuit of Michigan in Macomb County. I also was selected as an Executive Editor for the University of Detroit Mercy Law Review, and my article, Torturing Mentally Ill & Juvenile Prisoners: An Examination of Michigan’s Administrative Segregation Policies was published in the school’s 2017 Law Journal. I was also a member of the Moot Court Board of Advocates.
While in law school, I began working in personal injury law, starting as a law clerk during my first year of law school. After passing the bar exam in 2017, I went on to become an Associate Attorney at Mid-Michigan Law Group. Since 2019, I have also returned back to the classroom but this time as an Adjunct Professor at Detroit Mercy School of Law, where I instruct the Pre-Trial Litigation Law Firm Program (LFP). I am also a Section Director for the Young Lawyers Section of the Macomb County Bar Association.
When I am not in the office or the classroom, I am spending time with my wife and our two Bernese Mountain Dogs—Norman and Eleanor.
